Go whole hog

As usual I made more work for myself than was probably necessary. I got everything done right in time. Travis helped clean this morning then took the L's away. Zoe was very helpful decorating the tables and helping with simple food decor. I didn't get my sink full of dishes done but I stashed some in the oven and put a cutting board over the sink to be more aesthetically pleasing :)

I was so pleased with how everything went. As the girls arrived we decorated little straw hats for their dolls (they each brought their favorite doll) with ribbon and silk flowers. They turned out really cute.
The food was a success. I made enough and it seemed to be liked.

We had a treasure hunt to find the pinata. I thought it would kill some time to have to find the pinata, but they ran from clue to clue so fast it only took a couple minutes. See the completed and unsmashed pinata here .

Ladies with their dolls and hats they decorated.

Zoe wanted little cheesecakes. So each girl got to blow out her own candle. Fun, fun!

So cute, looks like it was a great party! I love that you stashed the dishes in the oven. HaHa - you are so funny! I'm glad it was a success. I may have to steal your idea!

We love the pictures documenting the tea party and even have our teapot invite on the fridge, in honor of the birthday girl! Wish we could have been there to celebrate; I totally would have done those dishes for you!

Hey...cute party. I am not going to show this to my daughter becuase it looked like a lot of work and I don't want to hear about it for the next 8 months.

Happy birthday Zoe and Liam, sorry I haven't been apart of cyber world for a while. Good job on Liam's lego cake, what a good idea. Looks like Zoe had a lot of fun with her friends.
