feast or famine: first day of school

I am sitting at my computer in a completely quiet house. I had a conversation with a friend about how during summer you see too much of the kids and when school is in you see too little of them. I am not bemoaning school already, don't get me wrong, I am so excited. It just seems
like with kids it is feast or famine.
Zoe going into 1st grade now has full day school. Travis went in late to work so he was home this morning to help us get ready.
Zoe had some clothes picked out for the first day of school then her friend, Amanda brought over a huge bin last night of more clothes, so she picked out a week's worth of outfits from that gold mine. Thanks Amanda and Emily!

Zoe has been tenative about school in the past but she was so excited this morning. I feel great about her teacher and things are going to be great.

Liam was feeling a little nervous about starting Kindergarten today. He was excited about his backpack and talking about school, but on our way over he told me he was kindof nervous.

Here is Liam by his cubby at school. I did end up staying there for about an hour until he felt good about me leaving.

I am excited for this year!
