Trip post 2: Bear World/ Splash park

My mother LOVES bears. She love wildlife in general but she really loves bears. When, several years ago, a nature park called Bear World popped up just miles from her house she went EVERY day. She bought a pass and went everyday. She would grab random strangers off the street so she could take them to Bear World. There is a story about the first time she took Travis and myself to Bear World. She poured honey onto the bumper of her car to attract the bears. Then the car broke down in the middle of the park. Just too hilarious.
My point is, when my mom found out we were coming for a stay she said she wanted us to go to Bear World (my kids had never been). So, of course we made it happen! It was great!
 Griz
Fat black bears, begging for food from the food truck. Mom knows all the tricks. Follow the food truck around the park. Then you get all the bears coming right up to the car.
 My little bear cubs!
 Liam, the deer whisperer
My favorite, the pot-bellied pig. When Felix stood up he helped himself up by pushing on the pig. The pig let out a huge grunt but never moved.

 Cubs!
After Bear World, we met up with the cousins at the splash park.
