Some highlights on the trip that weren't included in the last post.
Super fun trip down. Stephen and Shawna are some of my favoritist people in the world to be with, so I loved that they let me ride down with them.
When we got into Orem we were a little early and needed to freshen up. We decided to head over to Searcy's house. Even though our visit was brief, it is always a pleasure to see them (another couple of folks that would fall into the category of "favoritist people in the world to be with").
Searcy's also came over to the party for a bit. Nana and Marie swooning over adorable baby Henry. Smiles all around! So, if you knew me or Steve in high school you may remember this game we use to play in the front yard. My uncle Kim, taught us how to play, and I believe my Grandpa Conrad taught him (so it is NOT inappropriate that we were playing by their headstones). It is called Mumbleteepeg. It involves standing opposite (as pictured) and taking turns throwing a knife a foot or so from your opponents feet. If the knife sticks in the grass the person has to put their foot where the knife landed. A sort of dangerous Twister. I acknowledge how ridiculously insane it is to play, but when you are young and
It just so happens that there is a great little gas station in Sublett (actually, it is the ONLY thing in Sublett) where they have Alpaca's. Just to tell you have much we loved it, we stopped both going and coming back. It is such a quirky store it is worth the stop (but DO NOT plan on getting gas there unless you enjoy paying $4.57 gallon). They have baby rattlers on display as well as Idaho's oldest fossilized potato.
We also made a slight detour and went to see Shoshone Falls. It really is incredible. We just stopped at an outlook. I am sure it is much more dramatic if you drive down. We decided we HAVE to go for a picnic one day. It is lovely.

You're totally going to have to explain the knife-throwing game a little better, maybe on the phone so I can hear you laugh as you justify this obviously reckless behavior.
