Here's mud in your eye! (to your good health) Nana's 90th

I had the opportunity to drive down to Orem with Steve and Shawna this weekend to attend my grandmother's 90th birthday party.
It was such a special event. Nana was so happy, and it was fun to see family. Nana and Marie: her dear friend, mission companion, and house mate of many years.
Nana is so madly in love with Steve. She just gasps every time she sees him! Although Nana wasn't able to remember half of the people there she remembered Steve and Shawna and even all that was going on in their lives.
 Aren't they so sweet?
This is the Samuelson side of the family. It may be a little confusing to state that Nana is both my Samuelson grandmother and my Johnson grandmother. So, this is my father's side of the family, but many of my Johnson cousins, aunts, uncles were there, too. It makes things convenient.
On our way home we stopped off at the Honeyville Cemetery to pay our respects to my Grandpa Johnson. It was such a lovely place and I have such dear memories of stopping here.

Okay, for those of you who are thoroughly confused about how she can be my grandmother on both sides: She is my fathers mother. Years AFTER my parents were married, she married my mother's father. This makes her my mothers mother-in-law AND stepmother. She is my father's mother and his step-mother-in-law. I realize it may sound odd, but I never thought much about only ever knowing one set of grandparents that represented both my mother and father's side of the family.
