A week before Zoe's birthday we went to the mall with Mimi to look around. Well, looking around turned into a shopping bonanza. She had so much fun trying on (and buying!) clothes.
Although we had only briefly talked about getting her ears pierced (she had never really been interested) she decided that that was the day it needed to happen. She was very brave and stoic.
With Mimi, after getting her ears pierced. She was okay getting most of her gifts a week early.
She requested a fruit pizza for her first birthday treat. We had to celebrate with Mimi and Pa and then again on her birthday (lemon cream pie).
I can't believe she is TEN YEARS OLD! What a big girl! I think she had a pretty good year.
