Liam's baptism

Liam's birthday was sandwiched in between his birthday party and his baptism. So, he got a slow stream of gifts, goodies, cards and phone calls (thanks, all!)
Best of all he got both of his grandparents to be here for his big day. How special!
When my parents came, Grandpa Sam brough a sword and shield (upon request) because what little boy doesn't love that. The shield and sword are both wood with leather and gold accents (T for Truth, but also Turley :). Pretty cool. Yes, it is true, Liam is pretty interested in LARP, but don't assume this is his first step on his way to Scarbourough Fair.
Wonderful baptism (where we got next to no pictures-boo!) where we had both sets of Grandparents, my brother and family, and lots of ward friends come. (Thanks, all, again!) Grandma Sam gave the Holy Ghost talk and it was the most amazing talk ever. Even though she was scared out of her wits. She did great!
We had to have something to celebrate the baptism, so we had baptism brownies.

Mimi and Pa giving Liam his new scriptures! So exciting!
Liam with his birthday bag I made him, which is no where as cool as The Burrow Lego set that he got, but he seemed excited just the same.
