I grew up walking to Ricks College Campus and up to the Flower Gardens at least weekly (in the summer) during my youth. I always loved how peaceful, beautiful, and calming it was to sit there. Besides I have a very deep love for growing things.
I had very few expectations for "my wedding day" while growing up. The only thing I insisted on was having my reception at the Botanical Gardens.
These are just two of the reasons that drew us up to visit this place on the trip. It is changed, and even more beautiful.
Don't let the smiles fool you, we were all pretty cranky :)
But we enjoyed ourselves.
