These are our dear friend of 11 plus years. We met when we were newlyweds without kids. We were friends through pregnancies and college. We moved, they moved, we still stayed in touch. We both moved again (further away this time) and talked of a wonderful day when we would be closer in proximity. The day has come. Due to both of us recently relocating we were able to get together a couple weekends ago (after not seeing each other for 3 years!). It didn't even feel like we had been away from each other.We met at a neutral place half way between our respective residences. Thanks to my sister letting us use their condo, we had the perfect setup.
Kids did awesome together. There was a little courtyard outside where the kids were running around and we all played frisbee A LOT!
We had to keep the kids up WAY past their bedtimes. Felix went totally nuts over the fireworks. He was sqealing and pointing, clapping his hands. It made the meltdown he had afterwards, worth it.
Festive ladies. These little peanuts (that really aren't little anymore) were in utero at the same time.
Felix decided that he loved Amie, and didn't really want to come to me anymore.
