St. Patty's Day

I love St. Patricks Day. Why? Because I love a theme, and I love the color green. Of course, the kids made a leprechaun trap. We do this every year. This years was super involved because Uncle Steve helped. It worked on a little pully system. They had a lot of fun building it. They all contributed their most favorite shiny treasure to use as bait in the trap. The leprechaun left the kids some chocolate coins, jolly ranchers, and some "green". All of the treasures were magically returned to where the kids keep them.

This years amazing trap!

For dinner, green pancakes, green yogurt, green apples, and green 7-up

While the kids ate this trulynutrutious meal, the adults were treated to a hot meal of New England Boiled Dinner, crusty bread, and green milk :) Then we finished off the night with a little leprechaun eduction by watching Darby O'Gil and the Little People.

Great trap. Can't believe he got away. Love the update of the kids. I learn so much, even though I live nearby!
