He is getting so big! It is crazy to think it has been a month, but on the other hand with all that has happened and with schedule being messed up, sometimes it seems longer than a month! We have had so much help and I feel really good about our first month. We aren't getting any closer to sleeping for longer than 4 hours (maximum) at a time. But we'll get there.
My handsome boys. Travis asked me last night, "Has Felix smiled at you yet?" I told him "no". He didn't want to make me feel bad so he wasn't going to tell me, but Felix had been giving him some great smiles. I am patient. I figure he isn't smiling at me because he just thinks I am an extension of him. I know he loves me the best :) Not that it is a competition :)
There has been talk about him having red hair. I don't hold out hopes that it will last, or that he will turn into a true redhead, but it is cute now.
We are totally crazy about our little Felix and are so glad that he joined our family.Travis had an epiphany the other night that he shared with me. I probably can't state it like he did but he said something like: I know how your parents had eight kids. It isn't having eight kids. Instead you have Zoe, Liam, Lydia, and Felix and you know who they are and what they need and how they fit in the family and the relationship you have with them. That makes it do-able. I don't feel overwhelmed.
I understand what he is saying and I love the added confidence you have when you have done it 3 other times. Not that we have it figured out or are doing it right, just that we know it will not last long.

He is sooo sweet! That's funny about the red hair. My sister's twins had red hair but now it's coming in blond, and it's weird how Jade's hair can look very red. I guess I better not get too excited, I don't think Jade's will last either. I am glad you guys are doing well. Lydia should come play tomorrow, I need to call you:)

Congratulations!!! He is so handsome! I was really stressed out with Silas the other day and then I thought of you when Zoe, liam and Lydia were all so young and how stressed you felt sometimes. I thought wow I get it now, but I only have one. What does that say about my patience?

First thing I said when I saw your first picture here. I know what you are saying about 7, Bobby didn't want 5 and now he talks about having more twins! I don't know if I'm ready for that again, yet.
What I meant to say was, first thing I said when I saw your first picture is "Wow, look at that red hair!" Not being able to nurse and type with 2 hands makes you not make much sense when blogging. Sorry.
He's so handsome! I'm loving that red hair. Is it as red as it looks in the pictures? I hope it stays -- we need more redheads in the family. I can't wait to meet him!
