One morning Liam and I found ourselves with a few hours of alone time. I immediately labeled it a date (knowing that this won't happen much in the near future). I asked him what he wanted to do. He wanted to be spies and go catch the bad guys. First, he told me what to pack in the backpack he provided me with. Then said we needed to go to Judy's Donuts because the bad guys were there. Of course, he had to have a doughnut, since we were there. Above he is writing in his spy journal.
Next, we went to a park he had never been to before. It was really fun for him. They had a ripline (you know what I am talking about?) that he played on for a long time. We had a great time. I love my little buddy so much and I am constantly amazed by him and his abilities and his sweetness. I will have to post some of the drawings he has recently done. He is constantly drawing and I love what he comes up with.

Fun! One-on-one time is soooo important. I'm glad you got to go on a date with your little man.
You are such a cool mom! I am sad I am going to miss your shower tomorrow:( Hope you have fun, of course you will.... girlfriends and food always equals fun. Please let me know if I can watch your kiddos anytime, you know I love it, really:)
I had to smile at this post because in the last week I've been on two "dates". I promised both of my boys they could have a day with Mom before the baby comes. I hope your doing well and wish you the best labor and delivery ever.
