Lydia turns 3

We knew Lydia was special long before we had ever seen her face. There were so many special experiences we had before she was born. After she was born, it didn't take us long to figure out that she was the sweetest baby ever. She was so loved by her brother and sister. They gave her so many pet names: Walmart, Beal, Bo Peep and Puff to name a few. She has always had a very sweet disposition that she couldn't have learned from me or her sister. She is so sensitive. Whenever Travis would wrestle with the kids she would just cry, thinking for sure someone was upset. She is so aware of others emotions. She is in love with her Daddy (her "true love prince") and pats his head while he sings to her each night.
When Lydia was about 2 1/2 she started getting pretty sassy (which she definitely learned from her sister and mother). Now she is the one taking down everyone during wrestling sessions. She has gotten quite furious when I kiss Travis, insisting, "he's my prince"! She can hold her own with her siblings, or any older child for that matter. She is a little spitfire, but is still so sweet. This morning she saw me crying (couldn't be the hormones, could it?) and she spent 10 minutes with me trying to figure out why I was upset, then giving me kisses until I was better. She can't understand why others aren't as sensitive. When she is upset (usually because we've said "no") and crying she keeps telling us, "I am so crying"! What a sassy little angel she is.
She also has THE MOVES. If you have ever seen her dance, you would remember it. She really knows how to shake it.

Very sweet! She does look alot like Travis as a baby. I see all the pics and I can't believe I have known her in almost all the them. The time sure goes by fast...we need to freeze them at this time so they can't get any bigger!!
