Friday we carved pumpkins. We had gotten them on Monday for Family Night, but decided to carve them on Friday. Zoe loved pulling the goo from the inside, but Liam wouldn't even stick his hand in.
Liam and Zoe drew faces on their own pumpkins, which was fun. They turned out great. They always look better with the candles shining inside, but the pictures never turn out.
Saturday morning, Travis had quite a bit of yard work to do. Lydia and Liam went out and helped for awhile. They did a good job, but Liam was tired the rest of the day.
We had the ward Trunk or Treat Saturday night. Lydia was going to be Snow White but when she saw Sissy in her ballerina costume, she changed her mind. Liam was feeling a little grouchy and wouldn't let me take a picture. Oh well, there will be plenty more pictures on Halloween. They also get to dress up for school one day.

We carved pumpkins for FHE tonight and Linus wouldn't touch the goo, either. How can these boys be messy enough to destroy the entire kitchen when they eat a banana, but be repulsed by pumpkin innards?

fun ages-kaia wasn't at all interested in our pumpkin carving (my first one!) at least I enjoyed it! Maybe next year? She liked handing out candy though-prob because she doesn't know what it is!
