Travis came in this morning and asked if I had been letting Liam listen to Christian rock. Offended, I responded, "No! Why!" He said he had peeked into Liam's room and he was sitting in his bed flipping through his Book of Mormon and singing, "Heavenly Father is the greatest guy!" Then he would air guitar and sing some more. Hilarious! He is totally into air guitar these days.
When we are driving with windows down, Lydia: "Mom will you turn off the wind?"
I got to go on a field trip with Liam's class yesterday (sorry, no camera, no pictures). It was so much fun. We drove 45 minutes to a "pumpkin patch". There was a corn maze, hay ride, nature hike, and the kids got to pick out a pumpkin. It was a really great field trip! When I came home I was exhausted. I had to lay down. I asked Zoe to watch things. When I got up Zoe had got a snack for all the kids and turned on shows for Liam and Lydia. She is such an amazing helper.

Was the pumpkin patch out in Reedley? If so we went there with Taylies class and it was super cute. I was getting tired of Good old Cobb ranch.
That is way too cute! I am glad the field trip was fun. I love the air guitar - You totally love Christian Rock, come on admit it! HaHa
I have to admit, with very limited radio stations in Farmington, NH I frequently stop on a station and realize after 20 minutes or so it is Christian Rock!
I love how helpful our big kids are! Caleigh and Miles are such great helpers around the house. I just discovered Miles can push the vacuum without hitting anything, so now he has a new chore! Yeah.
Kylie has a friend who isn't a member and gave her a few Christian Rock CD's. I really can't stand to listen to them, but I know that kylie enjoys them, and their better than other things she could be listening to.
I draw the line at the car. I won't listen to them in the car. Yuck!
I love when older siblings are in tune with others needs and help out like that. So cute!
Love it! Liam cracks me up! Love those pumpkin patches and field trips. Nothing like a 45 minute bus ride on a school bus packed with kid.
is there something wrong w/Christian rock music? I guess I've been around it a bit thanks to my neighbors back home who started Lystra's Silence. Talented. Anyway, Kaia and I went to our 1st pumpkin patch yesterday (only one on the island, I think) it will be the 1st jack-o-lantern for both of us; isn't that great?! Man, my parents were NOT festive, were they?
