somewhere over the rainbow

This morning we decided to ride bikes to the Elementary School Park. When we got over there the sprinklers were on. Even though in was 9:00 a.m. it was still plenty warm to participate in that activity.
Because there were several sprinklers going, and the angle of the sun, there were rainbows everywhere. I am glad they turned out.

Liam, dancing in the rainbows.

I just liked the light on this picture.

You can't really tell but we are all dripping wet.
The kids did well riding their bikes to the school. It is difficult maneuvering at times. Maybe we will practice and try to ride to school. I had Lydia in the stroller.
Some recent funny sayings:
Zoe was telling Liam about how things that smell good also taste good. "That is why dinosaurs like to eat us."
Zoe gave a talk in Primary yesterday. We practiced quite a few times, but when she got up there she still referred to John as John the Baptism.
While playing Guess Who Liam calls facial hair, "fishal hair". Also our spiders are "black widdle" spiders.
I asked Lydia what her new Pinky was named. She named it "nother one Pinky".
Lydia was headed somewhere and I asked her where she was going. "To go get my boogers".

Looks like a fun morning. Better than a splash pad.

We have a back-up nougat which is named, "the other Nougat."

What cute kids! I saw the link to your blog on Kristen's (Bond) blog, so I had to come check yours out. By the way, your pies look fabulous. Mine never turn out that pretty.
