Travis surprised the kids by taking them for a ride on the motorbike (We call it a motorbike, which is technically
accurate. The term scooter connotes something else.). They hadn't been on it, and they had so much fun sharing this with Daddy. He has actually gotten them quite hooked. We were in the Target parking lot and saw a motorcycle. I pointed it out and said, "Look! a motorbike". Liam corrected me, "No, that isn't a motorbike it is a motorcycle. And I don't like it as well as Daddy's. It is only for one person to ride." And he was right.
For concerned Mom's: Travis always wears his helmet. It just isn't pictured here.

Random funny sayings:
Lydia calls Grandpa, "Grandmapa".
Liam: "I love H and G. Do you know who that is? Heavenly Father and Jesus".
Zoe: "Baptism is like swimming without floaties".

All of these photos are so great! What a great way to keep in touch! Will wants to congratulate Travis on saving up enough points to go to Pump it Up.
H and G...that's funny. Thanks for your comments on my blog. I'd love to see you. I am pushing a "friends reunion" for this fall. Are you in?
Your family is darling.
josh doesn't appreciate the term "scooter", either. i fancy it up by calling it "motorino" (italian). i'm turning in my 2 weeks notice in a few days. start taking notes for me, will you? how you fill up yet organize your day when you're alone with a baby... i'm getting pretty nervous.
Linus would be all over that motorbike.
Also, Gwennie is starting to ask a lot of questions about baptism, which she is nervous about. If Zoe gave her a pep talk, she would be just fine. No floaties? No problem.
I have been out of the blogging loop, you have posted so much since the last time I was on! I love that you got a motor bike. Ethan wants one soooo bad. Thanks for the kid quotes too, it makes me excited to hear what crazy things Silas will say.
Melissa!!!! How the heck are you? I just saw Erin Hill this weekend when I was visiting in Boise. She told me she found your blog, so I had to come home and find you. What a cute family you have! You are in California? It's great to find you!
