We were so lucky to have a visit from Mimi and Pa! They came right after Liam's birthday and were here for Zoe's.
One night for family night we decided to have a Talents and Testimonies night. Each of the kids shared a talent then talked about things they are grateful for and their feelings about Jesus Christ.
It was such a special night!
We opened with a the kids singing a song to my playing guitar. Liam shared a story that he had written and illustrated.
Zoe showed some fashions she had designed.
Lydia shared some pictures she had drawn and colored.
Each of the adults shared things at which they excelled. It was fun for the kids to hear about Mimi playing the accordion and being on the ski team at BYU. How Pa played the French Horn and grew up on a farm. We all shared about Travis's athletic abilities and his talents with people.
We ended up with Pa and myself sharing a talent. I made a pie, and he ate the pie (one of his great talents :) with help from the others.
Completely unrelated: we had grapes and plums that were the same size. We thought it was rather funny.
