Egg on My Face

I don't know what was distracting me, but Easter caught me totally unawares this year. I don't even want to admit this, and I am so surprised by myself (and embarrassed), I didn't even remember to decorate eggs!
So, we didn't do much. If Travis hadn't gone to Costco and bought a ham and other fixin's we would've probably eaten sandwiches for Easter Dinner.
Friday night was eventful. The kids had a Primary Party to go to. This was followed by a church dinner, which was followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.
 I didn't get many pictures.
We had purposefully let the Easter Bunny know that we didn't want the kids to have too much candy, because they usually get so much at the church egg hunt. This year they did very little candy (which is great) but then it turned out fine and the kids didn't even notice.
Felix with two Easter Eggs (probably the only two he saw this Easter).
We had a very fun Bunny Day on Saturday (to be differentiated from Easter Sunday). The kids woke to the candy trail to, instead of Easter Baskets, new Razor scooters. We were excited to have them get something that would get them outside after what seems like a super long winter.
We got to go shopping and get them new outfits (Thanks Mimi and Pa!) which was really super fun. The girls really enjoy shopping for clothes and Liam was as excited about this shirt as he gets about clothes.
We then headed over to the dollar cinema where we met up with Steve and Shawna and Richard, Laura, and Ethan. We saw The Secret World of Arrietty, the new Studio Ghibli animation. We all enjoyed it.
It ended up being a long day (Lydia even went to a birthday party in between all that stuff)! But we had a fun day.

Your Easter Bunny is so generous! Wasn't it a trampoline last year? Linus gor a razor for his birthday (celebrated on Saturday), so we are in on the craze over here. Love Lydia's expression.
