We had a bit of a driving day. I love to go for drives. When the scenery is this breathtaking and the company is great, who doesn't?
We headed to Iao Valley first. It is a lush, green, valley that is rich in history. It was pretty cold and windy when we stopped but the lava formations with vegetation were still amazing and beautiful.
The protruding rock jutting up is called Iao Needle. Some beautiful coastline pictures of our drive.
Again, pretty windy, but I saw some whale spouts! A chilling vision of things to come (name that quote).
Ahi Fish Tacos at Cool Cats in Lahaina. BEST. FISH. TACOS. EVER. NO, REALLY, EVER!
A little something sweet after tacos. Finley!!! Absolute doll. We dragged her everywhere with us over the week and she was such an angel! Look how tiny she is. She is almost 5 months! I think my babies were this size at 1 month.
We made our way to Whalers Village where we stopped at the ABC store for souvenirs for the kids. Then Kate showed me all her favorites at Sephora (I have never been brave enough to go in by myself).
Here we are lounging at a hotel patio watching the sunset (and looking for whales, of course).
Flatbread for dinner-amazing.

whale watching is one of my favorite things...and then to add baby whales! Get outta here!
Looks like we were the ONLY ones lounging...
Couldn't have been too cold judging by what you're wearing, but for Hawaiian standards I concede that it may have been a little chilly. I like the wind blown picture of you. The green mountains look awesome.
Oh, and the flat tummy just 5 months after having a baby --no fair.
