After bearing my testimony in sacrament meeting I came back to my seat a little teary. Lydia stared at me and said, "Are you okay, Mommy?" I smiled and said I was. Then she smiles, nods in understanding and says, "Oh, you were pretending to cry!" 
When the Meridian, Idaho temple was announced, Travis jumped up and yelled, and displaced Lydia who was on his lap. Indignantly Lydia yelled, "Dad, this isn't football!" 
Lydia, when angry at me, yells: "Jesus doesn't like you anymore!"Lydia likes "navilla" yogurt best.
She also doesn't struggle with low self esteem. One day on the way to preschool she says in an exasperated tone, "All the boys are going fall in love with me because I have a diamond in my hair."

She cracks me up!!! There is no guessing about what is on her mind.
That made me laugh out loud. I am sure the boys adore her.
She is so cute. Leah reminds me of Lydia all the time. The looks she sometimes gives us and she does not have low self esteem either. Girls are fun :)
I'm not sure it's the diamond that's the problem. She is BEAUTIFUL!! This isn't football. What a cutie.
