As we were driving into town on our move, we stopped at a gas station and I was perplexed by the blue and orange tortilla chips, candy, popcorn, shirts, snuggies, jewelry, flags, etc. There were tons of flags and bumper stickers in our neighborhood also. There is a blue and orange store inside of Walmart.
Although we weren't here for the legendary 2007 Fiesta Bowl (how do I know that?) I think it solidified any undecided fans. It is a fun thing to be a part of.
Some friends had a BBQ for opening game. The kids got into the spirit of it. It was a GREAT game.
I ran to the store during the last game to pick up some milk. They had the game playing over the radio. Is that unusual?

I don't think you can live in Idaho and NOT be a BSU fan. Go Broncos. Mike watches the games from New Hampshire. Only their two hours later and he has to watch them on some one else's TV.
There is NOTHING unusual about this sort of thing- driving around on game day and hearing the game at the store were some of my fondest memories of Oklahoma. Boomer Sooner!!!
Not in Boise-nation, it's not! Those Boiseans sure love their Broncos. It's cool to watch a game on tv and see the whole crowd dressed in blue, white and orange. I asked Kevin how they do that and apparently, when you buy a ticket, you are assigned a color to wear and boy, does the crowd get into it! It looked like a solid sea of those colors, each section a different color. It's cool, if yes, a bit (ok, a lot) fanatical.
