Lydia update

Lydia, like most three year olds is adorable and exasperating at the same time. She is quite capable of making us want to yell at her one moment, then have us all cracking up the next. She is quite entertaining. She has started saying, "I do...and I don't". For instance: "Lydia, do you like peanut butter?" Lydia: "I do...and I don't".

She likes wearing her "slip slops" (flip flops) and loves John-da Boos (Jamba Juice).

Lydia has decided that she doesn't want to be potty trained. A couple weeks before Felix joined us she started having accidents. We put her back in diapers because I couldn't deal with the fight (and clean up). She still is showing no signs of wanting to be a big girl and I am getting tired of buying pull-ups. Do I retrain her or leave it up to her to decide when she wants to? I know she knows what to do so I guess we'll just wait and hope she doesn't hold out too long.

She is playing really well with friends. She has several really good boy friends. It amazes me when she will play for hours with a friend and I never hear from her. When she plays with brother or sister it hardly lasts more than 5 minutes.

We are really excited to do a preschool co-op with some friends once the kids go back to school.

I get the potty training dilema. Elliot did it for a while but were back in pull ups too. I figure I'll wait till she is closer to three, maybe she was just too young at age 2.
