Zoe started 2nd grade today. She had a good attitude but when I picked them up from school she was really upset. I guess all of her friends from last year were in another class. She was also really tired. It always takes a long time to get use to school again, doesn't it?
Liam started (all day) 1st grade. He has the same teacher Zoe had last year. He was also super grouchy when I picked them up from school, but he was beyond tired. I'm not sure why my kids are so negative. I hope they get use to school and end up enjoying it.
Lydia wasn't too sad to see them go. We are enjoying our time together.

I love that they are wearing sweatshirts in August in Fresno. My boys were begging for sweatshirts this morning and I was laughing at them! I guess that is what 110 degree weather does to you:)
Graham has been having a tough time this year and I am hoping that it will smooth over as he gets used to 2nd grade. I was thankful for this post to know that other kids are having to ease into it as well.
You guys look so cute! And grown up. Have fun this school year.
