Felix finally lost his cord stump (is there a good name for it?) last Monday and he promptly got a non-sponge bath. He enjoyed it, as did siblings.
Although still sleeping a lot, when he is awake he is usually pleasant. He is still constantly grunting and has a bit of a gas problem (one day, he'll be so pleased that I posted that fact). I have had to leave Sunday school before because he is so disruptively loud.
Proud Mommy! I took Felix to the doctor today. I knew he had put on some weight but was very surprised when they told me my little 6 pound 5 ounce birthweight baby now had gained 4 pounds, 3 ounces! He's huge! Of course, he is still smaller than some babies at birth, but he is huge in comparison!
Felix has started smiling. It is so fun to watch him smile and coo.

Wow, he has gained a lot! It took Jade 2 months to gain 3 pounds. He's almost at Jade's birth weight, haha! What a great smiling picture.

I want to meet him so badly!!! What a beautiful baby, all your kids are beautiful though. I expected Felix to be nothing less than perfect. I LOVE the picture of you and Felix you look fantastic!

yeah, you do look great, and all so happy! I'm sure all the sibling squabbles have just disappeared with Felix's arrival, right? Peace at last! ;)
He's only one ounce less than Linus was at birth! I *cannot* wait to meet him and hold him and cuddle him. This trip is going to make me completely baby hungry, isn't it? When that happens, just remind me what it's like to birth a 10lb 9oz baby, okay?
When I look at him and think that you ladies (Jen and Hayley) gave birth to babies that big...makes me ill! You are amazing!
