Felix

Felix Eyring Turley was born at 3:33 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28th. He was 6 lbs. 5 ounces. He is very heathy (you can see his pink color). Even though he is small he eats and sleeps very well.
His siblings are in love with him, but since Travis's parents got here, they are more interested in them. They wonder why he is always asleep or eating.
When we got home from the hospital I told the kids Felix was hungry and I needed to feed him. Lydia offered to go get some crackers, so I explained that babies only drank milk. So, Liam offered to get him a glass of milk. So I further explained that Felix only drank milk from Mommy. They are a little weirded out by that. Lydia, after watching me nurse him, asked to hold him but said, "I do not want him to suck on my breast!" She was quite offended at the thought. She also called him a "giant treasure" and told him that if he were a rock, she would put him with her rock family (her favorite of all treasures, right now).

I am still dealing with some less than pleasant after effects from the birth, but looking at this little guy is some pretty good medicine.

Wow, he is a Giant Treasure. How good of Lydia to figure that one out so soon. Congrats! I am so happy your family has grown by one more. Now go get some sleep!
