Our first day of Spring Break was really great! We woke up to a gorgeous day and I made the kids go outside and help me with yard work. They did wonderfully and weren't even whiny when I had to drag them with me to the bank and the grocery store.
We had some quiet time in the afternoon and I was able to get a quick nap because the kids were playing so well together. They ran in the sprinklers for awhile and watched some T.V. while I worked on a project and dinner.
We made little homemade pizzas for dinner and they ate well. You see my simple pleasures. We didn't watch too much T.V., we got outside, we got chores done, I got a nap, I got to work on a project, they played nicely together, and they ate what I made for dinner, and Travis cleaned up the kitchen. I am one satisfied Mommy.

Sounds like a great day! Isn't it the little things that make it all worth it? By the way, those pizzas look yummy --and fun to make. Who wouldn't eat well with a dinner like that?
