We try to do all of the non-Christ centered Easter activities on Saturday so that Sunday can be soley about the real meaning of the holiday. The kids woke up to a jelly bean trail leading from their bedrooms to their easter baskets. They always love this part. This year the Easter bunny left an extra special treat of a giant swimming pool with slide that they will get endless use out of this summer.
In the evening we headed over to Clevelands for a delicious hamburger meal. While the kids were keeping watch in the back yard (sure that they were going to trap the Easter bunny) he hid all the eggs in the front yard!
They had a lot of fun finding their eggs and eating their contents. We had fun eating the Chocolate Coconut Cake Kristie made.
