San Francisco

I had an amazing weekend in San Francisco with Travis. He had a two day conference at a hotel there and encouraged me to come. We left Thursday night and didn't get back until late on Saturday. It was great!
Here is my breakfast in bed the first morning. So spoiled!
There was a walkway right behind the hotel that followed the bay for a few miles. I spent quite a bit of time walking here. I just liked this tree and mossy rocks.

Friday night we went into downtown San Francisco. We didn't have a lot of time (hardly any daylight) but parked by Pier 39. We walked around, looked at the sea lions, saw Alcatraz, watched the sun set, ate some clam chowder and fish and chips, and shopped for some silly gifts for the kids.

Sea lions on Pier 39.

Travis by a fun sculpture.

Another fabulous sculpture. What a fun night. With all that San Francisco has to offer we probably saw less that 1%, but we were so happy to have the opportunity even to do that.
My handsome, intelligent, fun husband sitting in the hotel lobby.
It was so fabulous to get away. The kids did wonderfully at the Clevelands (thanks guys, we couldn't have done it without you!) and I didn't worry once! I was so lazy and didn't feel bad because that is what I enjoyed.

Looks like you had a great time! How fun to get away. Your breakfast looks like it was so yummy! I LOVE Room Service. Bring me a chocolate milkshake - yum. Anyway, glad your weekend was good.

We went to San Francisco on our honeymoon - so it is one of our favorite places and I loved looking at your pictures. So much fun. Your name came up today and Jeana asked me to send along a hello from her.
