Travis was gone from Thursday morning until Monday night. It was a long weekend with no school for the kids on Monday. We were well taken care of by our friends. We had a lot of fun (but missed him terribly). We ate with our friends, the Clevelands, both Friday and Sunday night. Saturday we went to the park with friends Hayley and Chelan and kids. Followed by lunch at Clasen. Saturday night we stayed home and had movie night.
Sunday I made a beautiful chocolate cake to take to Clevelands (my two layer cakes NEVER turn out pretty). Lydia thought it was pretty tasty.
Monday, we went for a special (once a year) treat to John's Incredible Pizza, with the Clevelands. We ate at the buffet then went over to enjoy the rides. It was probably funner to watch the kids than to actually ride the rides. I especially loved watching them on the bumper cars.
At the end they cash in their tickets for "prizes". They were quite pleased with the day.We managed quite well without Travis, though we were very happy to have him home.

I'm so thankful for all the good people you have surrounding you. I'm also thankful you have Travis back home with you. We're praying for you and I think of you at least 6 dozen times a day. oxoxox
