Christmas Day

Our Christmas Day was wonderful. I woke up at 5:00 am hearing Zoe and Liam talking in the room with the Christmas tree, and presents, and stockings. I went in and said, "Hey guys, it is the middle of the night, you have to go back to bed." Liam turns to Zoe and says, "I told you, Zoe!"
When we did get up, we let the kids do their stockings before we did muffins. Growing up, my family took muffins around to all the friends before doing stockings or opening gifts. We've modified things a little bit. On the way home from the last delivery I said, "This is my favorite holiday tradition." Zoe asked, "Are you serious?"
I didn't get any pictures of delivering muffins.
Pictured above: Zoe excited about hairspray?

Liam, blurry with excitement.

This is the face Lydia gave me after opening a package of clothing. It was hilarious (and a bit staged).

Zoe was so excited about a gift she had made for the family. It was an ABC 123 book that she had illustrated. It is so cute.
We had a fabulous day playing together, with a great spirit in our home. What a wonderful day of celebration. I am so aware of all of the many things we have been blessed with. I thank the Lord for this day and the wonderful Spirit of the Season.

I remember getting the Samuelson Christmas muffins a time or two--they were delicious!

Looks like you had a great Christmas!
