Now, I am fine with blogs taking the place of Christmas letters, those are usually painful. I also think they stopped with my parents generation. Although, we always did have some good laughs reading those aloud.
We have received one Christmas card this year. It was from the First Presidency through Travis's work, so that is pretty cool. You really can't display ONE Christmas card, though.
So, for all of you reading this, it is still worth sending Christmas cards. You can skip the letter and the photo even (if you are good at keeping your blog updated), but nothing beats getting a real Christmas card with a personal note inside from someone you don't hear from as much as you'd like.
I wasn't going to send out cards this year, but after not getting any, and re-reading some of the very special ones last year, I reconsidered. So, if you sent me one last year, keep checking the mail.
Also, if you aren't going to send me a card, at least post a comment on my blog or send me an email to let me know you still remember me :)

I'm frantically working to get cards out this week! I'm also doing a Christmas letter (my first and likely my last) because we didn't do cards last year and many non-blogging friends may not even know we've had a baby. I'm finding it torture to write.
I had this very same thought! I LOVE writing a Christmas letter, because I love reading other peoples Christmas Letters. But I feel like my blog has kept everyone up to date on us, so I wouldn't really have anything to add. But I am still going to try to get some Christmas cards out soon. And I need your address... email me at lmpqt@aol.com And hopefully I will get on the ball enough to do them. And I still think about you and your cute family all the time!
I totally agree with you!
You'll get a card from us!!
