Memories...in the corner of my mind

I have seen this on a couple different friends' blogs and had fun leaving comments.
1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew/know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

I love our memory at Monkey Doo's with the girls, oh and everytime we met at the park. I am so glad we got to do so much together, even though it didn't last as long as I would have liked.

This is so fun! I remember that first Halloween after you guys moved in, when we had Chili and Soup with JD and Kendra. It was a fun night and it was fun to get to know you a little. I also remember discovering that you guys enjoy the same stupid TV shows as us. It is so nice to know that to someone I am somewhat normal! HAHA!

"Wave your hands in the air like you don't care."

Ummm...how about choreographing a dance in your living room to "Word Up" by Cameo. Rock on.

I also remember going to your house during lunch hour and you making tuna fish for us to eat...only you used a ton (a ton) of mayo. I didn't say anything at the time, but think of you every time I make tuna. Do you still enjoy that much mayo? I am laughing.

Tell me what's the word? Ah word up.

First, let me just say that I so appreciate the cliches...
My memory:
Pulling you and Amie down the Guadelupe, falling, and breaking my coccyx. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/coccyx

Wait a minute...the memory I have of our Guadalupe rafting adventure involves US dragging THEIR bums down the river! I can't quite choose one single memory...there are way too many! Although I often reflect on the time you made the Jiggles and Blinky video and surprised us with your Utah "extended tour" announcement...still brings tears!

Okay, I have to say I don't have a specific memory that I want to share. What I remember most about you is that I laugh my head off with you. The stories you share and the way you tell them, just brings a smile to my face thinking about it!!

I recall the first time (and possibly the only time) I went to your house with Ashley in high school and watched a video of the farting preacher.

Also, you gave Ash a tape of Beastie Boys music once and I thought you were the coolest friend ever and would imagine your super cool life listening to the Beastie Boys.

This is such a boring one...but it was at my house and we were on the couch just talking. I think we really got to learn more about each other that day...and it has just blossomed from there:) Travis, I will always remember last Halloween; and I don't think I will ever look at you the same:0 JK...By the way, Melissa, I will never think of ...(dot,dot,dot) the same again!!!

i remember walking home with you after school in the 6th grade. where were my parents? i only recall always, ALWAYS being with you. loved SNL when Todd was still home-remember your costume-chest? wasn't rainbow-bright in there? 7-up Gum, Inter-galactic Goo, summers on your back porch and Porter Park pool...too many! "it just flopped out!" Jay, Tharyn, everyone. art, music, adventure. You were the greatest "best friend". We always got along so well! (at least that I remember! haha!)

I don't have a ton of memories with you, Melissa, but I remember just always thinking . . . Wow, that Melissa Samuelson. What a cool girl. I wish I were like her.

And then I remember one time buying you a sparkly toothbrush at a truck stop for your birthday.

A bit random, but that's just the way my mind goes, I guess.

Oh, yeah, and I was so, SO mad you didn't become MHS historian. You and Amy both were completely robbed. I should have demanded a recount.

Maybe I mentioned this at Thanksgiving, but one of my favorite memories of you is somehow dirching class in the commons, where there was a piano...playing "On My Own" (from Les Miserables) while you sang a great parody of it--made up on the spot--to a stuffed rabbit. It ended "I love him, but only on......Easter."
