Samuelson Reunion Hightlight # 7

The folks bought a swingset/slide thinking the 17 grandchildren needed a place to get out some energy. The first day was spent working on getting it set up. Luckily we had a lot of man power, or should I say MANLY power. It is always fun to work on a project together because you get to talk while you are accomplishing something. Dad always could make working together fun. The many hours of our youth we spent raking leaves...

Also there is a structure in the backyard that was once a treehouse, but is now on the ground. Those of you from my early youth will remember the hours I spent working on that treehouse. It was a fun play house for the kids and a good refuge from the rain.

Now my kids want to know why we can't build a play structure in our backyard or go play at G & G Sam's everyday.

Oh I hope you saved the carpet and drapes that we stole from my basement to try to beautify the place. Oh what fond memories.
