I don't think the floor had been dry 2 minutes before the kids, who had been using sidewalk chalk outside (so I could mop) came inside. If I remember correctly I think this is why my Mom said she stopped mopping the floor. Why bother when it never lasts and you tend to get upset when it doesn't? If I remember correctly I think this is why my Mom said she stopped mopping the floor. Why bother when it never lasts and you tend to get upset when it doesn't? i'm having too many of these "mommy moments". glad to know you're still getting them, too! And i always loved that your mom didn't mop the floor. my mom vacuumed EVERY day, rain or shine, visitors or no. drove me batty! :)your home was such a wonderful escape from expectations...
Ug, I feel your pain. If I stop mopping, it will be because Linus eats in my kitchen.
