Life of Reilly

For the title of this post I used a less well-known cliche. If you don't own a copy of The Dictionary of Cliche by James Rogers the meaning is: the good life. "It is from a song that the vaudevillian Pat Rooney made popular in the 1880's, and Reilly was actually "O'Reilly." Shout out to our Irish heritage. Now you will all run out to get a copy of this fabulous book.

Travis and I got to go on a date yesterday. We ran some errands, went shopping and ate at Cheesecake Factory. We cherish those moments alone.

Today at church Lydia grabbed a piece of the sacrament bread. She made a face when she saw the crust and said, "I don't like peels".

We made a leprechaun trap tonight before the kids went to bed. I explained that if one catches a leprechaun, he gives three wishes. I asked Zoe and Liam what they would wish for. Liam said, "I wish all my toys could come alive and that I could marry everyone".
